I am Maria Cristiano, founder of YOUR ITALIAN WELLNESS ARCHITECT.
I know what it means to rebuild a life.

Over the years, through my own experiences and my work with women, I have learned something important:

Reinvention isn't about becoming someone else but more about creating a life that finally feels like your own.

YOUR ITALIAN WELLNESS ARCHITECT grew from that belief, from my love of Italy and from knowing just how much can change when a woman decides that the next chapter will be different.

I know what it feels like to lose your way.

I have known deep struggle, painful loss, separation, divorce and betrayal.

I've had periods when the life I thought I was building no longer made sense. Times when my identity, confidence and sense of direction were shaken and I had to find my way back, piece by piece.

I've been at rock bottom more than once. That experience matters to me because my expertise doesn't come only from training, qualifications and years of coaching. It also comes from having lived through the very things I now help other women navigate.

What carried me through wasn't magic, false hope, toxic positivity or a collection of pretty words. It was my Italian soul and the Italian way of life. The understanding that life is made of simple truths, for example, that every season has its own rhythm, that food matters, beauty matters, movement matters, good conversation matters so does knowing when to slow down, when to begin again and when enough is enough.

It taught me to pay attention to the connection between how I think, how I live, how I move and what I put on my plate.

No shortcuts and no pretence, just a deeper respect for life and for myself.

Alongside this lived experience, I brought together my training in coaching, healing, meditation, mindfulness and energy work with a deep interest in how the mind, body and nervous system influence the way we experience change. This became the foundation of my work.

I am not interested in giving women another list of things they should be doing.

I am interested in understanding what is actually happening, finding what needs to change and creating a practical way forward.

And this is how Your Italian Second Act was born.

I work with women through the moments that change the shape of a life.

Divorce, menopause, loneliness, a career that no longer fits, loss of confidence changes in the body, questions about money, purpose, relationships and what comes next. But the point isn't the problem, the point is what you do with the life that follows.

I help women create more wellbeing, purpose, pleasure, confidence, love, health and possibility in the years ahead.

Because your best chapter isn't behind you but it is the one you design next.

Your life, your rules, your second act and la bella vita!

I don’t work with fluff or trends.  My approach brings together practical coaching, wellbeing, mind-body work and the Italian wisdom of living well. No pretending that one morning routine will fix your life nor that positive thinking is enough.

We look at what is actually going on, decide what needs to change and build from there.

I've lived it, I've tested it and I've rebuilt my own life more than once, now I bring that experience to the women I work with.

As Your Italian Wellness Architect, I don't believe in handing you a perfect formula for somebody else's life.

I give you a framework, a perspective and a way of looking at your life differently.

Then we build from there.

Because your Second Act should not look like mine, it should look like you.
